Simnovus and Dell Technologies Collaborate to Demonstrate Carrier-Grade O-RAN on Commercial Off-the-Shelf Hardware

Simnovus, in collaboration with Dell Technologies, has successfully demonstrated a carrier-grade O-RAN testbed, achieving zero-drop 25G fronthaul O-RAN 7.2 emulation on a commercial Dell PowerEdge server.

The collaboration also resulted in a co-authored whitepaper that documents the architecture, engineering decisions, system tuning, and technical challenges involved in building a high-density, carrier-grade O-RAN validation environment.
